Inspiration
In 2016, over a dozen parents reported that their children had been suspected of being pricked and abused at the RYB Kindergarten. This incident highlighted the urgent need for children to develop self-protection skills and strategies against personal safety crimes.
Creative Point
Kids Meet: An exhibition game that teaches children how to protect themselves through play. By allowing them to apply what they learn, they can truly improve their self-protection abilities.

Definition & current situation
Child sexual abuse, including both physical and non-physical activities, has not yet been officially reported in China.
Entry Points
Nowadays, children's sexual and safety education relies heavily on schools rather than families. Therefore, I have decided to focus on the role of family education in this matter.
Current Methods & Devices
Most safety education is based on words or stories, rather than action-oriented training methods, which have been shown by scientific study to be more effective for children.
Current Methods & Devices
All the present advice only provides different types of feedback to children's guardians or adults. There is no advice on improving self-protection awareness.

Important Factor During Growth
When ask parents what is the most important part they care about during the growth of children, less of them choose the safety awareness.
Time Arrangement
Most parents have at least three hours per day to talk and spend time with their children.
The Kind of Safety Problem
Parents may not always focus on personal safety crimes, such as kidnapping and child sexual abuse.

Fewer parents realize the importance of communicating with and teaching their children from their perspective.

From shadowing my friend's niece, it is clear that she is having a positive experience in kindergarten. When she comes home, she enjoys talking to her parents about what happened in class. Her parents encourage her to express herself and even repeat what she learned to help her remember.

Sex Difference & Grow-up
To teach children to distinguish the characteristics of different genders, use the matryoshka doll to show the visual sexual differences and the growth process to kids. Each layer represents a stage of a girl or boy's life, from newborn to mature.
Sex Difference & Grow-up
By using a puzzle, children can select and put together the correct gender parts themselves. This can effectively train them to remember the differences.
Body Boundary
Different types of touching create different expressions on the doll, which can help children distinguish between good and bad touches. This can help children develop an understanding of their own body boundaries.
How To Deal With The Dangers?
This document explains how to teach children to judge who can protect them, who may pose a threat to them, and how to protect themselves when they encounter danger.
Test Children’s Ability Of Protecting Themselves
Design a game for children that tests their knowledge, and also create a method for them to output what they already know. Combine these two types of games to create a new role-playing game that trains and practices children's ability to protect themselves.
Competitive Analysis
Emphasis Problem
Present designs focus on raising children's awareness and attention to personal security crimes by teaching them knowledge and skills. However, without actual practice, these designs cannot achieve the ideal situation that kindergartens and parents hope for.
Knowledge Conversion
Some information about sex education is a form of knowledge popularization, and can be difficult to digest and convert into actionable protection approaches. Therefore, more direct methods are needed.
Technology Support
Somatosensory technology enables people to interact with surrounding devices or environments directly through body movements, without using complicated control devices. This allows for immersive content interaction.

Kinect is a peripheral device developed by Microsoft for Xbox 360 and Xbox One consoles. It captures the player's movements up and down the body and uses the body to play the game, giving the player "control-free gaming and entertainment experience.”
